Our Journey
Lifetime Garden Beds is founded and owned by Tom Tomason, who started out living on a farmhouse next to the highway. He began assembling raised cedar beds from the extra wood that was lying around in his backyard and then sold the products individually on the highway in front of his house.
That idea laid the entire foundation of our business and since then we have progressed by leaps and bounds over the past couple of decades to evolve into one of the premier manufacturers of handmade cedar garden bed kits in the United States. Today, Tom and his team spend their winters building over 5000 kits to send in the spring to nurseries, garden centers, and individuals. We have recently moved to large-scale productions but are focusing on individual sales as well.
